In honor of Ella G.
Monday August 5th we took Ella to her pediatrician due to bruises and head aches. We thought she may have low iron due to it running in the family. Tuesday August 6th we got the call that Savannah Children's Hospital was waiting for Ella and to bring her in right away, her CBC came back that she has leukemia. We then found out Ella has a rare type of Leukemia (AML) which means she will be impatient for 4/6 months with 2 week breaks in between each month. August 8th Ella got her port put in and started chemo the following day. Chemo has been hard on her little body but she is so strong. We know god will get her through this and we pray for anyone who is or has gone through this.

CURE's Kids
During September’s Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, CURE Childhood Cancer hosts CURE's Kids. CURE's Kids empowers families to make an impact in the fight. Each day in September, we honor and remember children who have battled cancer or are currently in the battle as we partner with families to share their stories and ask the community to donate to critical research efforts. Since its inception, CURE's Kids has raised more than $2.5 million to further our efforts to conquer childhood cancer.
