The Miami Wave Volleball Club and Veca’s Hope Children Foundation have chosen to raise funds for CURE Childhood Cancer during this holiday season.  Every year in the United States, nearly 16,000 innocent children are forced into the fight of a lifetime with a cancer diagnosis. Decades of research have pushed the survival rates above 80%, more children are lost to cancer than any other disease.  And two-thirds of those who do survive suffer long-term effects from the treatments used to save their lives.  Notwithstanding, less than 4% of federal funding for cancer research is aimed at solving childhood cancers.  That's why it's critical that CURE pours funds into research - so science, and treatments, continue to advance.
