We Took the Polar Bear Plunge on February 11th to "Keep Winter Cold"

On February 11th at 10:00 am hundreds of climate activists across the country came together to take the plunge for our climate. 2023 marks our 18th  annual Polar Bear Plunge to "Keep Winter Cold," the Chesapeake Climate Action Network's (CCAN) largest fundraising event of the year.

Through peer-to-peer fundraising, we are able to raise a large portion of our programs budget for the year to come. We also use the Plunge as an opportunity to bring the climate community together and raise awareness on climate change.

TAKE THE PLUNGE

By taking the Plunge, you're committing to help raise vital funds for the work of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network as we organize to pass climate policies in our region and nationwide. The Plunge is also an opportunity to speak with your peers and family about climate change – and of course – it's FUN!

Our 2023 Plunge has wrapped up -- but stay tuned for news on next year!
