The Chesapeake Climate Action Network's (CCAN) first-ever 5k For The Planet fun run and walk will be held on the morning of Sunday, April 27th at Bryan Park in Richmond, Virginia. Join us and other climate activists for a 5k raising funds to support our vital climate campaigns in 2025. REGISTER to join us!

- 5k Run and Walk Fundraiser: Fundraise for the planet! There is no registration fee for this option. We invite racers to sign-up and pledge to support CCAN through peer-to-peer fundraising. If you raise at least $200, you'll receive a pair of our fun "Make Earth Cool Again" socks! If a minimum of $25 is not raised by race-day, a $25 race fee will be collected the morning of the race.
- 5k Run and Walk Basic: Select this option to register with a $25 per participant fee covering race costs. You can select this option and still choose to fundraise and collect donations for CCAN through peer-to-peer fundraising.

Race Day Details
Join us the morning of Sunday, April 27th at our first-ever 5k For The Planet! Sign-in and day-of registration will begin at 8:30 am, with a race start time of 9:35 am. The event will take place at the scenic Bryan Park in Richmond, Virginia and is on a fully paved trail that has small hills.
