Chesapeake Climate Action Network's Annual Polar Bear Plunge
FREEZIN' FOR A REASON: 20 YEARS OF PLUNGING FOR OUR CLIMATE

The Chesapeake Climate Action Network's (CCAN) 20th annual Polar Bear Plunge for our Climate was held BRRRR-tually on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Hundreds of climate activists came into contact with icy cold water while also raising vital funds for our 2025 climate campaigns!

Our annual Polar Bear Plunge is CCAN's largest grassroots fundraising event of the year. Through peer-to-peer fundraising, Plungers raise over 30 percent of the individual donations that power our work in the year ahead. Check out the video below to get pumped up for our 2025 Polar Bear Plunge.
