18th Annual Supermarket Street Sweep

The Supermarket Street Sweep (aka "SMSW" or "The Sweep") is an annual bike race that benefits the Food Bank. Since 2005, hundreds of participants have zipped around the city to local supermarkets and brought back thousands of pounds of food to donate to this wonderful charity. To date, Sweepers have raised 142,713 pounds of food and $153,606, which helped the SF-Marin Food Bank provide approximately 426,139 meals to neighbors in need.
