Help saving the gentle giants World Gorilla Day 2023

"When you realize the value of all life, you dwell less on what is past and concentrate more on the preservation of the future." Dian Fossey

As an animal and nature lover, it is only logical that people like Dian Fossey have had a huge impact on me. I will never forget seeing the National Geographic footage for the first time of this woman sitting among these beautiful creatures as if she was one of them. Well, she was. Due to her passion and determination, we still can see mountain gorillas in their natural habitat today instead of looking at them in books of long extinct animals. Since she has been gone (although I'm certain that she still watches over them) their numbers have gone up to 1,000, which is extraordinary, however; mountain gorillas are still a very threatened species which is why we have to come together on World Gorilla Day on September 24th (the day Dian Fossey founded her research camp "Karisoke" in 1967) and continue to fight for these gentle giants. Let me make this clear that I will only raise awareness with this fundraising page. Any donation you make will go directly to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, the longest running organisation helping gorillas. Both, Ellen Degeneres and Sigourney Weaver have been supporting this organisation for a long time. No money goes to my account nor will I receive any sensitive information. Your donation is secure. Again I am only raising awareness and want to do my part. I thank you so much for any donation, any amount is welcomed and helps saving the last "Gorillas in the Mist"

World Gorilla Day creates the opportunity for people all over the world to come together to celebrate gorillas, and more importantly, take action to protect gorillas in the wild.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart..🦍
