World Gorilla Day Sept 24 2023
World Gorilla Day 2023
Special Thanks To
Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund
Gorillas are beautiful, resilient animals. But poaching and habitat destruction have pushed their populations to the brink of extinction in recent decades.
Our brave founder, Dian Fossey, knew that gorillas would need our help to survive. Today, the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund is dedicated to continuing and expanding Dian’s work. We protect gorillas and their forests every day, while also helping the people who live near them.
A gorilla is strongest when they are with their family. They take care of each other just like us — protecting each other, playing together, even babysitting each others’ young to let their friends get some rest. Join us on September 24 and help save a species! Because like gorillas, we’re stronger when we work together.
World Gorilla Day 2023
World Gorilla Day, the worldwide day dedicated to charitable generosity is September 24. But this year we are calling it World Gorilla Day. With gorillas facing extreme threats and endangerment, the urgency to save these gentle giants is real and up to us.
As we near World Gorilla Day, join us on this journey to save a species. When you give or fundraise you help amplify our mission and our work, and in doing so help save a species.
Extinction isn’t reversible, but together we can prevent it.
